Derek Sharp
Derek Sharp is an emerging writer and director from Oshawa, Canada. In 2019 he graduated Cum Laude from Mount Allison University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Anthropology, then swiftly pivoted into Humber College’s Film and Media Production Program. Private Eye & Apple Pie is his directorial debut.
Besides his directorial work, Derek worked as a Producer on the documentary Redundancies (2020) and as Production Coordinator for the short drama Chorus (2021). He also wrote Personal Inferno, a short script he hopes to find a home one day.
Derek is currently in writing and development for his next short, a sci-fi drama called He, Who Loves Me.

Kaitlyn McKale
Kaitlyn McKale is an emerging Producer born in Ottawa and grew up in Almonte, Ontario, she now resides in Toronto, Ontario. She got her start into filmmaking at Algonquin College where she made her first film. Upon entering film school at Humber College, she naturally gravitated towards producing. Through her producing work she aims to help tell stories that are insightful and engaging. She will collaborate with anyone who has a special story to tell.
Her producing work consists of a short documentary, I Am Peace (2020), a short horror film, The Crimson Artist (2019), Prey a short thriller, and Repeat (2019) a short experimental film. Her other work consists of co-managing a YouTube channel.

Mike Jones
Born and raised in Victoria, BC and now residing in Toronto, Ontario, Mike Jones has forever loved creating and experiencing art in any form since an early age. His first love was making music, and then taking photos, and this eventually morphed into making movies. He wrote the screenplay for "Private Eye & Apple Pie", and has worked on student productions "Silence", "Down To Earth", and "Bad Guys". Though Mike is passionate about really all the aspects of Film, his strong suits are in Sound and Picture Editing.

Nusayba Mustafa
Nusayba is an emerging picture editor and camera operator most interested in telling stories surrounding women, queer people, and people of colour. She recently wrapped the picture edit for the short film “Private Eye and Apple Pie”, as well as the short film “Could You Leave” where she was script supervisor. In her spare time, Nusayba likes hanging out with her cat and imagining her own superheroes.

Elliot Stickle
Elliot Stickle is a cinematographer raised in Ottawa, Ontario. His passion started in photography and creating adventure videos with his friends. Bringing his camera wherever he goes, Elliot has found himself traveling on mission trips to places like Guatemala and Costa Rica, showing him the power that is held by what can be captured.
Elliot’s recent cinematography works include the documentary In The Red (2020), a finalist for the Canadian Cinematographer Awards. In 2020, Elliot was proudly the recipient of the DGC Workforce Development scholarship. Freelancing, Elliot has himself working the camera in the live music industry, branded content, weddings, and as a camera assistant for music videos and short films. Experience with cameras has led Elliot to be able to capture cinematic frames that add further meaning and depth to a story.

Rijul "RJ" Kathuria is an upcoming filmmaker, DOP & Cam Op who strives to make meaningful, cinematic and creative content. In addition to working on various Humber projects, RJ runs his own freelance videography and media production company (@Znth_) where he is focused on working with local creators and artists to build a community to bring the GTA to the forefront of the creative industry.

Daniel Ferreira
Daniel is a Brazilian filmmaker with a deep love for Cinema. He has a bachelor's degree in social communication with an Audiovisual minor from the University of Brasilia. He is a current student in Humber College's Film & TV Production program. Daniel had the chance to work in many different roles (producer, first AD, script supervisor, camera operator, assistant mixer, best boy grip, first AC, and mixer) in productions in Brazil and Canada. Lately, he's been taking jobs as a camera operator and First AC in short films and best boy grip in music videos.

Yi Man
Yi Man worked in the media and publishing field in Shanghai, China for a decade, before he resided in Markham, Ontario. He keeps making photographs, music, and videos as his passion. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tongji University and is currently studying Film and TV Production Program at Humber College.

Justin McMann
Justin McMann is a second-year student at Humber College's Film and Television Production program. He is working hard to earn his place in the industry, within the sound department. Recently, he has worked on the student documentary Redundancies as a Sound Recordist, Boom Operator, Dialogue Editor and Re-Recording Mixer and also worked on the short student film Private Eye and Apple Pie as a Boom Operator. He has just worked on Could You Leave as a Gaffer and is also the film's Re-Recording Mixer. In his free time, Justin enjoys watching movies and TV shows, editing and working out.

Megan Raso
Megan Raso is a second-year student at Humber College in the Film & TV Production Program. She is an aspiring filmmaker, hoping to make her way into the industry and pursue a career in Film & TV. The short documentary In the Red is Megan Raso’s directorial debut. Recently, she also worked on a short student film Private Eye & Apple Pie as the 1st Assistant Director.
Megan loves movies that leave the audience thinking about the world in a different way and hopes to achieve this with the work she creates. In her spare time, she enjoys running and keeping active. Megan is an aspiring assistant director. Up next, she is in the process of writing a short dramatic screenplay.

Navn Diem is a film student at Humber College. He is an aspiring director and hopes to
direct features in the future. He has worked on the documentary A Humber Hawk Pause as

Rylee Camacho is a visual effects editor born in Mississauga, Canada. Ever since he was young, he would make films with friends and incorporate visuals effects like gunshots and explosions for fun. Now he’s on a journey to take his work to the next level to crack the surface of new possibilities of good VFX editing.

Rylee’s worked on aesthetic VFX and colour grading for the documentary Look Up (2020), the short film Evanescent (2017) as a My RØDE Reel Finalist, and much more, such as music videos, promotional videos, and engagement videos. He’s now studying Film & Television Production at Humber College.

Alejandra Campos De Leon was born and raised in Panama and moved to Canada in 2019 to pursue her dream to become a filmmaker. After finding her love of film she discovered she has a passion for different facets of movie-making. She has found to like all areas of the pre-production, production, and post-production phases, especially as DP, producer & post sound roles. She is currently studying in the Film & TV Production program at Humber College.

Debayudh Joardar is a second-year student at Humber College's in Film and Television Production program. He previously completed a video design and production program at George Brown College. He is working hard to earn his place in the film industry. Recently, he has worked on the student documentary Redundancies as the Editor, and also worked on the short student film Private Eye and Apple Pie as the Gaffer. He has just worked on Meet Me in The Hallway and Bad Guys as the Set Decorator. In his free time, Debayudh enjoys watching TV shows and Movies.

Christopher Fernandes is an aspiring filmmaker currently studying Film and Television Production at Humber College. Using his background in business and supply chain management as a foundation he plans on growing and developing a career in the film industry and aspires to be a feature-length film producer. In 2020, Christopher directed "Down to Earth" an award winning documentary titled "Down to Earth". And is currently producing "Could You Leave" and other projects. With a focus on producing, directing, cinematography, and sound design, Christopher tries to push the limits and explore creative challenges in a wide variety of genres.

Stefan Watson is a 2nd year student at Humber College’s Film and Television Production Program. In his free time, Stefan enjoys making his own short films, playing the piano, playing video games, and spending time with his family. Stefan currently has worked on Humber College’s 2nd Year Studio Drama’s film, “Could You Leave”, as the film's Production Designer, as well as Humber College’s 2nd Year Documentaries film, “Anywhere But Here”, as the film's Camera Operator.

Hannah Hall was born along the St Lawrence River and raised in the countryside. She moved to Toronto to experience some excitement in her life and showcase her artistic abilities in the film industry. She spends her free time painting and designing characters, cosplaying, and playing video games.

He worked as the second camera assistant for the studio drama, Could You Leave, and the cinematographer and editor for the documentary, Look Up. Eric Kang, 23, is an aspiring picture editor born in Seoul, South Korea. With a background in aviation and biology, he is currently enrolled in Humber College's FMTV program where he served as the picture editor for "Could You Leave". Born in Bowmanville Ontario, Domenic was raised on classic films and acquired a passion for filmmaking early. He shot backyard films throughout his youth, falling in love with the art of directing, cinematography and editing.
